Caution people, please! (This is not directed at you, bullmarket, that was an excellent post)

I wanted to use that same headline I used when we got the NMSS announcement and there was too much irrational exuberance. That was a very good announcement, and was accompanied by the Pacific Rim contracts, the newsletter, and some other things. But I thought it was a bad thing then if we let ourselves be carried away with excitement given that we still did not have the filing done.

Today I urge the same thing, but on the downside. It is a bad thing for anyone to get carried away with negative emotion or depression and think that DGIV is a scam, that the company is tanking, etc, when there is absolutely nothing different that we know about the company today than we did last week. Everything is the same. The only difference is that investor confidence has been lost, as a result of the overall market conditions, combined with those who had to sell to cover margin calls, with the lack of financials in August, etc.

So if you want to buy or sell, do so with a clear mind as to what you are doing and why. Any buying or selling done emotionally or for reasons that have nothing to do with your reasons for investing in the first place are almost surely going to cause you to lose a lot of money.

If fundamentals turned to the negative for whatever reasons, lost contracts, a scam, or whatever, I would be the first to say that there is a problem. But there is no evidence of anything here other than psychology at play.

So do what you want, or have done, and be at peace with it, but do it on a sound logical basis is my exortation.
