I've never used margin so this may sound like a really dumb question but, if one uses margin and the stock runs up 10 or 20%, why wouldn't you sell and collect the profit and buy back on a dip? I guess the question is, if you use margin, do you not set a profit objective ahead of time, (something like trading)? And if you set a profit objective, is it 10% or 20% or xx%? If I were to use margin, my thinking is to set a definite gain goal and sell no matter what once that goal was reached. Just trying to find out about alternative means.

Seems like everybody and his brother-in-law is a narcissist these days looking for admiring fans or something for their alleged 'correct predictions',sheeeesh! I were them I would go into tarot card reading biz or that 1-900-psychic biz or something instead of sparing us the dubious privilege ,no? Me,I couldn't care less.
