I stopped watching cnbc 2 years ago. Everyone on there has an agenda, and the info is next to worthless. And, they seem to kind of know it all, in a snotty, pubescent way, and if they did, (know it all) they sure would not have that job.
I also don't think we have seen panic yet. But, my guess is we will. So, that means more down pressure. The Wilshire 5000 probably lost around $800 more billion today. I just don't see sustained buying pressure. Where will it come from? Rotation is going into cash.
I surely may be wrong, but I am so deep in the money, on my s+p futures shorts, that I don't care right now. I would like to see a repeat of today though.... the current trend is MY friend....
