I think you are right, there will be a rally tomorrow, but short lived.

I don't think we've seen the bottom here, people will be getting margin calls tomorrow morning. I did extremely well today, shorted ASND, NSCP and LCOS all before 10:00, but it looks like you could have thrown a dart at the WSJ if you were picking a stock to short this morning.

We finally have something resembling reasonable valuations. Some of the good small tech stocks should be good at some point, but I want to see what happens in the next 60-90 days before I get excited.

I have a friend that believes the Y2K problem will have a significant effect in the next 6 months, not on the US markets, but Latin America and some other foreign markets. That, coupled with Wild Bill's antics, Russia's instability, and domestic earnings uncertainty makes me think this market won't move north for a while.
