<<IMHO, this is a sell-off that is long overdue. Inexperienced investors are heading for the lifeboats, leaving excellent discount prices to the well-disciplined investor. The buying may be, in many ways, even more violent that the selling has been in recent days. There is too much cash on the sidelines.>>

I think you're right; I hope you're right, Geoff. That said, I'm still expecting to break below 7000. JM(exceptionally)HO, of course. ...Tim

The fact that today it only costs $20 to dump and $20 to get back in doesn't help people's discipline.

I guess you always need to look for the lesson in all things and I suppose the "discipline" of which you speak is the lesson here. I've got a substantial position in LOR shares and used this market weakness to load up on more 2001 25's. GSTRF has been particularly frustrating, however, given that I picked up my first shares at 25 last week thinking it was approaching it's bottom and today it's damn near 50% off those levels. So I bought more. (Disciplined investor, you know). Anyway, thanks for the bit of "bullishness". You saved me the cost of more Rolaids. Long on LOR, Mick.
