Greg,

I like the idea that just because things are a bargain doesn't mean they won't get to be a better bargain.

Someone has to walk over to the water cooler and turn the "Buy The Dips" switch back to "ON" before we get out of this mess. And the one person who could have done that is sitting in his broker's office trying to make sense of it all and what he can cash in to pay his margin calls and how he will plan his retirment NOW.

So don't hold your breath. The bear market may not be over yet... in fact, some believe IT JUST REALLY STARTED IN EARNEST!

Mark me in that last camp.

Bill

Greg: Someone should have mentioned to JJ to read this thread. We could have helped him see it coming!

I am staying late with my partner, Jeff Berkowitz, and putting together my ideal targets,
prices that I would buy things with my eyes closed. Ford (F:NYSE) at 40, Coke
(KO:NYSE) at 55, you get the picture. Then I will go in and buy. Even in 1990 you got
a chance to buy things if you were nimble.>>

Cramer remembers 1990 more vividly than me. I remember 1987. Some folks remember 1929. 1990 was nothing.
