<<Why? To what purpose? What will be your end result if I have interpreted the scriptures correctly and you refused to listen? Is it worth it?>>

Yes, to me it is worth it.

<<< I would rather go ahead with good intentions and good works(when possible) and hope for the best, then kowtow to an angry and threatening god.>>>>

My life and how I live it, has great meaning to me. My goal is to grow
in my ability to love and be loved, and to live with compassion and tolerance for those around me. The concept that those intentions and deeds have less value than spoken fealty and submissiion is outside of what I can fathom. I am trying to use the faculties that have been given to me, by God, in order tolive a life that pays homage to him in action and deed, not in word and posture. If that counts for nought, so be it. I just cant see how God cant value those attributes.

I fully accept whatever comes my way. However, do you think that an eternity of fire and brimstone is a just reward for those attributes and desires? Honestly?
