Ali - Re: "The availability changes nothing in the proof: "

You are quite a joker !

Availability is EVERYTHING !

Intel is making money on Celeron/Mendocinos and AMD can't get the K6-3 to work or to yield (you can pick whichever you like).

Making money is the objective, Ali.

Why haven't you been able to figure that out by now? You keep telling us how smart you are - when are you going to start acting smart?

Paul

Ali - Re: "he 256 vs. 128 was for illustration mostly, "

You've got some more trouble ahead !

Did you know that Intel has had functioning 256 K L2 cache DIXON chips for almost two months now?

Intel may even be sampling these - did you know that Ali?

And yes, the Dixon is even larger than the Mendocino - yet Intel can make these in high yields !

Look for Dixon in a notebook PC in the not-too-distant future, Ali !

Paul

Re: "If you are so picky about availability"

Great line Ali, I'll remember this one!! Who but one of those profit mongers would care about availability?
