Bob - Re: "What's your favorite major league ball park?..."

I would have to say it WAS Cleveland Municipal Stadium - former home of the Indians and the Browns - but now just a footnote in history.

I would rate Wrigley right up at the top - just a "shade" above Fenway park. Wrigley seems very elegant despite its age. All the seats were pleasant - I sat on both the first base side (vs. Cardinals) and the 3'rd base side (vs. San Francisco - saw Bonds smack a home run as well !)

In addition - and this SHOCKED ME - the service at the food concession stands at Wrigley was SUPERB - those vendors SERVICED the customers - great speed and courtesy - unlike the rude and ignorant folks at 3COM/Candlestick and Oakland.

Fenway is pure pleasure as well, due to the nostalgia aspect. Old wooden seats, old vendor stalls , etc. Not to mention the Green Monster. I used to love sitting out in Centerfield for about a buck in my younger days !

I went to the new Comiskey park last year in Chicago - and although it has no "history", it is a beautifully laid out stadium with excellent views - all the perks of a new park. Supposedly, Camden Yards and Jacobs Field are the same - but I haven't been there yet.

Wrigley, Comiskey and Fenway are also easy to get to via subway/train - although I usually walk to Fenway - just 12 minutes from the Prudential Center.
