Offthread to Michael Dodge....

Michael, you are absolutely correct that the market had to have its leaders "correct" (or crash, depending on whether you were injudiciously using margin) to clear the air. Today is the first day that such evidence has been manifold, with even Dell down close to 20 points. IBM was down nearly 10, MSFT down 7+, all the internet stocks totally cratered, with Amazon down about 22, Earthlink and Lycos down over 8 each, and Yahoo down about 14. Wow. It was truly a bloodbath.

I have about 160 stocks on my market minder, and only two were up on the day. It doesn't get much more one sided that this.

My own view is that TFS (even without the earnings warning) would be trading now in very low double digits anyway. Take a look at Simula, with nothing "wrong" currently. That stock is down from 16 to 9 in little more than a month.

Sometimes there is no place to hide. I suspect this is one of those times. You can buy them the first day you get trading volume over 1.25 billion shares. Perhaps it will be tomorrow.

Who knows?

Try to sleep tonight, Michael. All of us may need it tomorrow.

To the thread:

I hope all you guys are okay.
Has Voyager submerged permanently?
These TFS guys are a real work of art aren't they? Have you guys noticed how well their investor relations program is doing in the local papers? NOT.

I guess it can't get much worse.
My momma told me there would be days like this, I just didn't expect they would all come so close together....
