All Clinton had to do to keep out of trouble is keep his zipper closed and quit lying so much. I fail to see how his 'mess' is anyone's fault but his own. I believe this administration's credibility is damaged beyond repair.

I think even in the best of times he is one of the weakest presidents the United States has ever had. I don't disagree with many of his positions (especially on the environment), but if the country ever faces a real crisis we are in big trouble. He is president because he is popular, not because of any competence demonstrated on his part.

Who is to blame if the economy heads into recession? "Republican supply-side voodo-economics?" (I agree with fiscally sound supply-side theory). The Dems will make hay in the fall on this issue if the market is devastated another 20-30%.

I doubt it - usually the party of the current president gets 'credit' for the financial well-being in the country.

Maybe Clinton reads books bought at Amazon. (To keep post on thread topic).

:o)

End of political commentary.
