Abbey Cohen just reported on CNN that she (Goldman Sacks) continues to look for corporate earnings to improve in the second half of 98 - no
reason in Goldman's opinion to change corporate earnings forecast for
98 and 99. Therefore, Abbey feels there is no reason to change the
year end forecast for 9300 on the DOW.

Now we are left to pray Greenspan bails our asses out!!

My sources indicate if a tide does not turn and soon, the fed will lower the fed yield by .5.

This may be the one thing that could put a plug in this draining sink of a market.
