Serge,

My what a difference one week makes !! It wasn't that long ago that all the "experts" claimed that this generation of investors were more savvy and patient and that no one would panic.

Despite having had the worse day of my investment carreer, I am much more bullish than you, Serge. Despite Clinton's perversions, the US economy has never been better. Low unemployment, near zero inflation and rock-bottom interest rates are still here. Russia is too small to matter and Japan slowing the economny in America just enough to keep Greenspan from raising interest rates. Combine these factors with the baby boomers aging and inheriting billions of extra cash to invest and we have the makings of several years of prosperity in equities ahead of us.

There's a ton of bargains out there. (CSCO,LU,MSFT all dropped over 10% today alone !!). And if your a NN long, $ 18.50 is a great price to buy and hold.

We may see some more rocky weather in the next few days but I think after the margin calls are covered, institutional buyers will jump back in and have a field day.

Good luck to all tomorrow. Or as Pat would say, "To better days ahead!)

Cheers,

Peppe

Serge;
You are correct, the political leadership around the world is crap.
However there is always the other side of the coin. Given the current global market condition how long could the US market stand alone. One could make the case that the large cap stocks had run to far in front of the rest of the market and with this pullback perhaps just perhaps we will get a more evenly balanced market upturn this time. Given the current return to respectability for Newbridge next time the dow hits 9300 we should see a much higher price for our stocks. Cream always goes to the top.
I have a truck load of the stock and unless their are new developments will be holding .

Regards
Glenn
