Ron, For some reason I thought from the outset the HKMA had considered a deep correction in U.S. as well as Japan equity shares. Not dependent upon it, just considered such events may be at hand.

Fairly difficult shaking the U.S. dollar down when gold has been so thoroughly battered. Isn't it?

Ah, well. Always keep a little around. Just in case.
