Hi Beebs, I think the 7000 is very possible within the next 2 days...and as for the market, it's been pretty BEARISH since April in general...Perhaps not the DOW 30 but the overall market...well it's not been a correction, a slow death perhaps but not bullish for months..

As a lurker who only discovered this thread some time ago (even though my friend OJ was waving his arms about Tom D and P&F last year), I'd be interested in knowing when the NYSEBP turned negative.

In a related vein, would a pop to the upside in the next few days be considered a good opportunity to take short positions or initiate puts?

Keep up the good work. Thanks. I hope someday to contribute something substantive to the thread.
