Mike, We have no hope. Our electoral system is stacked to make minority governments the norm. from time to time a tight socialist group gets all their voters out and the lazy liberals get 40% out like the Pro-cons and get elected with 15% of the popular vote, and then they ruin BC/Ontario etc.
Soon the dollar will be worth pennies and you will need bushels of it to buy gruel.
Gruel world.

We desperately need one less level of government. I can see a city government but above that we need just one level. This petty stateism is useless. Look at Atlantic Canada 4 provinces with nearly zero population and industry. the existence of those 4 governemnts is the main reason they are down. I am for one federal government and then civic governments and no provincial governemnts at all. Limit city taxes to 1.25% like proposition 13 in California. That did tremendous good down there. they made all services user pay and only those that wanted them bought them.

enough futile complaining, the average Canadian is too dumb to know what to do for his/her own good.
