In predicting another 25% decline in DELL's price are you assuming that the whole market will continue to slide for a while (i.e. is stock bull currently a bear) or are you predicting that decline independent of the market? Just curious--sure would love to get my hands on some at post-split $40 or less! I've been kicking myself for missing the DELL train last year and I wouldn't mind seeing it come around the track again. #;~}>

P.S. After reading the last couple of posts I can't keep Arlo Guthrie's voice singing "Ridin' on the City of New Orleans..." from going through my head!!!

Hi Stock Bull,
Sorry to hear of your pessimistic prediction...hope you are wrong but there is no way any of us with Long Term Shares should sell out to those market makers!
IMO, no matter WHAT the market does, DELL will not be a $35-50 stock post split and if I am wrong, it won't stay there for long before going up...people WANT to invest in EQUITIES, it's just that the fear needs to subside ... before you know it there will be a crisis in some unknown 3rd world country...and no other bad news available to drag the market down any further! (GG)

I HAVE LEARNED THAT EVERY TIME THE FEAR SETS IN AROUND SELLING DELL (LIKE TODAY)...IT IS CLOSE TO GOING UP FOR A BIG RUN...I find the same is true with the market in general...hopefully this is no exception! Afterall, Ralph A. didn't come out today and call for 6500 did he? And if he is right on, the market is almost done with the freefall...then up, up and away! Cheers, GRANOLA

Stock Bull- You need to do your homework!

Dell's forward earnings for the year is NOT $2.10....
They just posted .50 .....are you assuming that they are going to post
EPS (going forward of) .52+ .52 + .53 + .53 ? That equals $ 2.10, partner....and that's ridiculous partner..

What you have done is taken THIS FISCAL YEAR's estimates from First Call (but we are already 1/2 thru the year!)

Either you were incredibly sloppy with this post, or you really don't understand how fast-growing companies are properly valued...but either way, it was a bad post. You are going to confuse some newbies!

Take a little more care next time...and you can forget about Dell reaching 75-84, too!
