Yes, I suspected that. It is for that reason alone that I don't see any sustainable rally. Today's drop created a kind of a gap which is not visible on the charts. It will take alot of churning to overcome today's crash, especially the last hour's free fall. You might say the market was saved by the bell. Any rally from this point will not last. There are many frightened longs waiting for that rally. It may not come at all.

The real tragedy will come when the great middle class loses all its investments and savings, then their jobs. The Russian soldier has not been paid in over five months and, with their economy as unstable and volatile as it now is, their sentiment is ripe for social upheaval and revolt. We can easily be in store for another Russian revolution, believe it or not. And, no, I still would not buy gold.....
