Put/call etc. I just don't see any reasonable argument for a sustained bear market at this time other than technicians who think the market will go down because the market has been going down. The fundamentals are pretty solid and the Fed must be very close to easing and will keep up or increase the growth of the money supply at this point. A lot of hedge fund selling due to losses in Russia and now some margin calls. I listened to one advisor who thinks things will really take off a week from Tuesday when all the big money returns from th Hamptons etc., sounds as good as anything. When things calm down a bit is there really much of a chance the baby boomers are going to switch their investments into cash or bonds. I am not espousing the new paradigm but sustainability is key for a big shift in investment habits and this correction/almost bear market just doesn't have the foundation to be sustained at this time.
