Tim,

chicken little here.

Bad news: still chicken little because

MSFT, DELL, INTC, CSCO, LU all still trading at a premium PE over growth rate. Under current market conditions, may be a discount off these lofty growth rates is in order.

The world is continuing to fall apart.

Good news:

weeklypost.com

may be this will be the start that the world stop listening to stupid western ideas. May be the Russians will send Yeltsin and Clinton to Siberia at the same time so they can both practice "I will not resign".

When all the countries realize that they have to think for themselves and do what is best for their countries, not what IMF or G7 or whoever dictates, then it is time for recovery.

Wait, am I sounding too optimistic?

Seriously, I feel like kid in candy store. There are so many great buys. The market tends to over react on the upside, creating irrational exuberance. Now it is heading toward irrational despair.

Maurice, I still remember the last time we agreed that QC was a great buy. Wasn't it in the 30s? We are not that far off.

<<<Just great. By the time the markets open in the morning, people will be totally wired and
quavering from having sat up all night drinking coffee and watching the SEA and
European markets (likely) implode. The mutual fund automatic transaction system phone
lines will be clogged up like a street drain during a downpour and the market will have a
delayed opening as they try to sort out the mess.

AAARGH!!! Thank the good Lord I woke up from that nightmare (I hope!).>>>>

Tim A., you are too funny, man........
