No, I wasn't kidding last December when I posted 4,200 as this year's low... intraday most likely.

From my limited 30+ years experience watching markets, it is quite an experience with the lemmings on the run to see them keep going over the cliff. So the pendulum swings in BOTH directions. In 1987 you had interest rates on the rise and a belligerant Fed vs Germany. Now you have stable and even falling interest rates, Russia coming apart at the seams, SEA in the sea, and Japan in the toilet. And the biggest similarity is the huge overvaluation of the markets.

Will buyers of the BIG DIP (maybe THAT is the name of the new thread... Big Dip Buyers - Beware) be rewarded as in prior sell-offs? Or will they have to wait 20 years to get their $$ back?
