Hey, Gores tax for the school internet is a hoax. Had a school district get okayed and did the installation. Asked for the money and were turned down.

While $40 million is a lot of money, let's keep it in perspective. With about 270 million Americans, that amounts to a whopping 15 cents per American. The spectacle has been worth at least as much to me as two sips of latte.

And don't forget, much of that money -- probably half -- is salaries. Of those salaries, given some of the high-priced legal talent involved, probably at least 30% comes straight back to the U.S. treasury in withholding and payroll taxes. So the net cost is probably closer to $27 millon, or a dime per American. Somehow I find this hard to get too heated up over.
