gaj, Thanks for your thoughts. It is true that AMD couldn't meet the demand on their product last year. A friend of mine was in high in the 30's before it tumbled. But the scenario has changed a bit. Their manufacturing plant in Germany is an 8 inch fab and they are ready to crank out chips. I'm guessing by years end maybe even sooner. That could change their image. I'm not sure about a longer term investment but AMD might be good for an upswing of a few points in the short term. Earthdog
