Tim, remember the last big sell off in 0ct 97 was REVERSED BY IBM announcing a STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM. We already have at least two big companies announcing BUYBACK programs. BOEING to buy back 15% of the shares. VIACOM to buy 1.5 billion dollars of stock. You will see more of similar announcements to tomorrow and rest of the week IGNITING A REVERSAL by the end of this week, to be followed by THE RESURGENCE OF BULLS after the LABOR DAY BREAK. Once it is clear that US companies are in good shape for the fourth quarter and the third Q results are not as bad as most people's pessimistic view market will make new highs. This is the best scenerio, then again there are some unknown factors that will change everything. Regards, BR
