Thean,

I was half expecting LT to suggest the "money in a matress" idea as a follow on to crash-city. I will chime in with my contribution for the next wave for investors.

However, now.......there are zip-lock bags, to almost fully airseal your valuable food, and sawbucks. NO more bugs eating your paper profits. HA HA.

Thank you, Thean. That's why gold is truly money. It may not be easily exchangeable at your local 7/11 but it sure can provide a measure of security. I remember when my brother and i were avid coin collectors in 1962. I guess it was around 1964 when my Dad asked us if we should start accumulatinf gold and silver because the gov't was phasing out pure silver coins. We had lost our zeal for coin collecting about 6 months earlier so we said no, don't bother. Big Mistake. Silver dolllars were still one dollar then. -g-
