Paul V,
I wonder what Bob Brinker is saying now?

Still waiting, but my palms are itching with anticipation. At this rate we may bottom sooner than Oct/Nov. Still haven't seen huge AMAT volume sell off, yet. I think that any institutions/funds may let
go after they drop 10-15% from their initial buy in price from earlier this year, assuming some of them bought in at the $26 level.
I'm curious that AMAT hasn't seen 12M+ volume sell activity yet.
I think all of my other criteria have been met, now all we need is
large downside volume. Q4 earnings may be the final straw to signal
the bottom.

BB

Paul, if Christmas is good maybe the excess inventories will clear up and we can move on up. The Q4 results are going to be poor, but everyone knows so the question in November will be is there light and the end of the tunnel? AMAT management is giving us some hope that things will improve next year Q2, part of this is pep talk to rally the troops after the layoffs. I hope we bounce to 30-35 range by Sept. 11 before warnings start coming out, after that I think below 20 is very possible although there still seems to be support in the low 20's. The support is taking Tito's step program in a reverse direction, lower lows and then lower highs.
