Hardline, that's ok thought. I would do the same if the NYSEBP flipped one day to negative from positive. Lets say today it's in X's and I am
on CNBc and saying we have the ball and at 50% room to move higher. Then lets say XYZ country goes belly up and the market is off enoughtg to reverse the bullish percent the next day. I go bearish that day, no matter what I said the previous day. Ralph's methods are probably not taht defined but waht ever he saw made him do something very unpalatable that day. If this was in the 1600's he would have been hanged and all he was, was the messinger. Abbey is the one who has backed herself in a corner. Tonight on Lou Dobbs she was grasping for buzzwords and at the end Lou said "Everyone is hoping you continue to be right on your predictions" or somethign like that. That was as far as Lou was willing to go to tell here she has been wrong. GAyle Dudak (sp) on the other hadn was on with Mike Metz as the guru's for the bear condition and they both missed the upside. These shows should be called Public Enemy #1. Ralphie is feeling much better today but I can tell you the reaction people had to his call devistated him. He's a wonderful person who did the right thing win, lose or draw. Tom D

Timeline July 22nd:

Dow Jones moves to a new all-time closing high of 9333 but the NYSE Bullish Percent can not muster even 6% of the stocks to go from sell signals to buy signals and reverse up into X's. The NYSE Bullish Percent remains in O's and on Defense. The Optionable Bullish Percent could only rally to 49.6%, well below old highs of 73.7%. The Percent of 10 can only rally to 52%, much lower than old highs of 72% made in March.
