Chung Lee,

Judging from the flat line above 7000, I'd say the HKMA must be in. I would like to know volume. If it's low, the market is fairly strong and the HKMA is not using much cash to support. The report says there was some short covering early, but there's been no news since.

I've gotten a little hyper on this. It's like watching a good chess match, trying to figure out the moves and strategies of the players and not being able to know who will win because the advantage keeps shifting back and forth.

Best,
Ron

Two different articles in the SCMP.

One says that investors are passing around petitions and presenting to invesment funds telling them to stop lending stock to speculators. "You are lending our stock to the very people that are trying to ruin our pensions."

The second article says that those wanting to sell shorts are having a hard time finding stock to borrow.

Hmmm, related?

FWIW,
Ron
