Welcome, Naveen. I'm jealous of your getting into VLSI at this price! I wish I had saved more cash. I don't follow LSI but there are others here who can probably address it. Linda

Naveen: I have been following LSI and VLSI for a while. Both are fundamentally sound company. LSI just announced a revenue shortfall in the quarter a few weeks ago. And its price fell from low 20s to the current level. But it still expects an earning in low teens this quarter. LSI acquired a division (I cannot remember the name) from a south korea company. The division specialized SCSI devices, which is currently dominated by ADPT. It has bright future. I won't be surprised if LSI's price doubled next year. But the semis are out of favor right now. Jeff
