scba...In my opinion the USA has an economic environment,
long fostered by the government;.... human resources, and
natural resources that has made it extremely resilient
in today's global economy.

Due to the fact that the US is extremely self sufficient
many people (investors) sometimes lack global knowledge and
could tend to over estimate long term impact.

Russia needed money the US received Alaska...hmmm...how about
some natural resources for any financial aid.

The media focus is on Russia, but I think the real problem is South America. We do export a lot to them, and they are having economic problems. Even the Market Babe has overlooked South America.
