GM, How are we holding. I was on vacation last week and couldn't give you the institutional ownership numbers. Here are the numbers for the last two weeks. THese numbers are from IBD's count of institutional ownership and is reported every Tuesday. Date No.of institutions holding AMAT ------------------------------------------- 7/21 367 7/28 367 8/4 367 8/11 373 8/18 369 8/25 370 9/1 370 ------------------------------ It will be interesting to see what this number will be next week and next few weeks as Mutual funds may start closing their books for 1998. -Karun
