<<Gnosticism makes Christ inhabit a lower order than God in its complex hierarchy of aeons, sub-aeons, demiurges and all that other stuff that comprises Gnostic cosmology.>>

As opposed to all that stuff that comprises conventional Christian cosmology. They're all welcome to it, as far as I'm concerned; I couldn't care less about either, except to the extent that their ideas provide interest or amusement. The Gnostics are mildly interesting because they were different; the familiarity of Christianity makes it boring, to me at least. Those who find it inspiring are welcome to it. Being a pagan at heart, I choose to ignore both. Perhaps I'll go home tonight, sacrifice a pig, and ask the ancestors to intervene on behalf of the Dow, which needs all the help it can get.

Y'know, thanks for setting me straight. Until now, I blithely and innocently thought that a 'demiurge" was a condition endemic to Southwestern women - the irresistible hankering to get a breast augmentation.
