There are obvious "dolts" on both the upside and the downside of any market movement. This is why I never short term trade. As I said in many posts, I really don't worry one way or the other about the ups or downs in the market.

As for whether you will make money on options, I wish you well. Watching people gamble, whether they win or lose, is always somewhat entertaining for me. People who are "winning" always believe they are expert gamblers and will win forever. People who are "losing" blame bad luck and the inherent statistical impossibility of losing so many hands in a row.
