Hi Charles,
Actually I was never quite sure who made UltraSPARC. I had heard LSI mentioned, and some said Fujitsu, and I'm still not sure if it is only one manufacturer. Strangely enough I never pursued the answer. Has it always been TI? When I read TI's announcement for their new .07 micron technology, which I think is awesome, the fact that one of their first implementations would be a new 1.5 gigahertz UltraSPARC for Sun, made me smile. Sun is also courting Intel with its new Merced, and meanwhile the "Wintel Axis Is Beginning to Wobble":

Sun seems to forge many constructive alliances.

May the Sun shine today.

All the best,
Michael

$43. I sure hope this keeps going for a few more days!

Now I feel bad again about the shares I sold. It happens every time.

JMHO.
