I think that today we may see the largest market drop in history. IMO we may see asnd, not at 32 as I originally thought, but in the low twenties and don't kid yourselves it could go lower. Is this where it deserves to be? Of course not but it may well go there anyway. I think the dow will end in the 6000 to 6500 range. I favor
the lower end of that range. Good luck to all.

When they start taking stock out from under the mattress, and have no brokerage account, IMO it's panic and time to buy.

Much less dramatic than your couple with stock certificates showing up at Schwab to sell, but my wife placed an order to buy an S&P index mutual fund with Schwab near the end of the day yesterday (maybe a few days early; we shall see this week). Her "buy" order was so unusual that the Schwab representative made her verify several times that it was a "buy" and not a "sell"! He proceeded to tell her that NO ONE was buying.
