Not broken stock...

Broken stocks are one's that have fallen to new lows and leveled out in combination with (a) devestating news or (b) major disappointment. It is a situation which usually takes years to repair. THQI has fallen but only because of general market conditions. If anything, THQI is in a better position fundamentally than the majority of big caps.

Indeed, I'm puzzled by pre-market action, as I've been before with THQ. Several trades executed (on instinet, presumedly?) moments before the open at the previous day's close, despite the fact that the bid-ask was 10% lower (10 3/8.)

Is this just market makers getting the chance to make a quick buck off of buy-at-open market orders placed before the market opens, or is more going on here?

<<Boy, talk about a broken stock>>

Wrong, wrong, wrong. And in case I haven't made myself clear: wrong.
