Who in the hell would have been stupid enough to buy the 'Thing' on margin?

The same type of dolts that are taking cash advances from credit cards and 125% home equity loans and plowing it into the market to earn the guaranteed arb spread.

Hey, does anyone have a quote and volume? I can't get into my quote service.

Thanks, IS

If the plot is correct and a lot of the rise has been created by retail, some guys will have believed $200 story, put every egg they could borrow in the AMZN/YHOO etc basket and by now will have been creamed. Or scrambled. Add to that they extra pressure created by the long squeeze as people tried to call the bottom and got blown away and you have a very nasty trading situation. Just as tough as on the way up.

For those looking for a rally, look at the volume on stocks like CSCO. It seems like the predictions of selling into any rally are coming true.
