JD's 9/2 hotline pushed CD, HET, and HLT as bargains and cited positive export figures for Thailand and S.Korea as the beginning of the end of the Asia meltdown.

He pointed out that CD could not begin its stock buyback program until the current 10-K is filed with the SEC. (When buyback starts it will help support the price, and reduce the shares so that the EPS will be enhanced.) He believes that CD could rise 40 to 50% near term and be a $40 stock by 12/31/99
