WS, It is legal, but the market has just scared the next pro who thinks he should take options instead of cash. And the cos., pure and simply, with bad eps and all, may not be able to reprice the options. After all, there are these things called shareholders who occasionally do vote. <G>

BTW, got jammed up today. I will look at that problem we discussed tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be nice if listed options were like incentive stock options. No risk on the downside. And now that the market has fallen a bit, won't companies be repricing all their options to lower exercise prices. I am pretty sure its done, but it just doesn't sound legal to me.

It is done all the time and it is legal. Take a look at MU sometime.

Now is it fair and in the spirit of the original reason ISOs are supposed to be offered? Well what do you expect when the fox is in charge of the chicken coop and the farmer is brain dead?
