Stock Split. If I am not mistaken all shareholders of DELL including people who bought DELL before the close of the trading session on Sept.3rd should double their 'pleasure' on Sept.4th (Friday),not Monday and not Tuesday but Friday Sept.4,98. [Fractional shares excluded from split after Aug.28.98 ie any fractional shares bought between Aug.29 and Sept.03rd would not participate,at least this is my understanding] "Dell also announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a 2-for-1 stock split. This split, the sixth in the last six years, will be paid in the form of a 100-percent stock dividend to be issued on Sept. 4, 1998, to shareholders of record as of Aug. 28, 1998.
