Be careful with Discover Brokerage ... (originally Lombard) ... they always have problems during heavy volume days. Last year I had a stop order on AOL and could not get through on the PC, phone service or live broker for over an hour and the stop went through. Obviously, it then went back up and I was out and could not even get through to replace the order.

Same thing happened with them today ... 45 minutes on hold. Had a limit order in on LU wanted to cancel ... again, ended up selling it and making nothing!!! Could not get through. They never have enough brokers, and their computer/phone service always goes down.

Be careful.

Tim;

Just got out on the upturn. Licking my wounds right now. Haven't been following your opinion up to this point, so my questions are:

Do you believe this is just a minor upturn proceeded by some more correction?

Is the day after labor day when you will begin to start trading once again?

My problem is this: took a hefty contract job for the next three months which will keep me away from the computer during market hours.
I wish to invest soon and make back all of my loses as quickly as possible. However, I am very limited to any position playing but will try to remain close to what the market is doing. Will you still be submitting some picks before labor day hits to look over? As much as I am anxious to make back loses, I am admittedly very wary of the market at this point and I have no idea which way it will turn. Ideas? Try a long descriptive post for a change.

Thanks.
