How's about irrational thinking (S). Read this: HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 1998--ATEC Group (NASDAQ:ATEC - news), a leading provider of computer solutions, announced record results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1998. Fiscal 1998 revenues were $187,156,878, up 86% from $100,841,362 for the prior year. Net income for the year increased 64% to $2,742,300, or $.43 per share, compared to $1,667,898, or $.28 per share for fiscal 1997. Net revenues for the three months ended June 30, 1998 climbed a record 155% to $72,666,478 from $28,479,287 for the same period in 1997. Net income, for the quarter, increased 83% to $1,107,274, or $.15 per share, from $605,817, or $.10 per share for the comparable period last year. The stock's down.... Betcha it's because I own some. Maybe that's the way the trading folks have been thinking these past days. Now that's a good non-tech answer !
