Sorry man, I thought you'd seen the benchmarks on Toms page...the comparison of Celeron As and Pentium IIs were done on Identical computers...at all clockspeeds...
If I was to buy an Intel chips at this point it would be a Celeron A.

Start here and read the next two pages of benchmarks. You'll see the Celeron A the overall equal of a Pentium II at various clockngs. In most cases the Celeron A is the faster chip.
