Because this is a tread to discuss James Cramer and his value to to investors. I listen to those that I think know more than I -- then I do my homework and make my decisions. I'm not blaming Cramer, I'm the one that made the decisions -- but his guidance has been less than helpful.

if cramer was right, you'd be touting him. so when he's wrong, put the blame where it belongs.

the answer to your question...about why listen to someone else?... is obvious. cramer competes for investor's attention. he throws his opinion around, writes glowingly of himself, calls others ignorant, and charges $ for his electronic rag. that makes him someone who is attempting to convince people of his prowess. and some are taken.

frankly, imo, he says so many things, he's bound to be right some of the time.
