Simple Technology Lowers Its Commercial Distribution Pricing Up to 30% SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Simple Technology, Inc. today announced it has lowered its distribution pricing by up to 30% across its entire line of products including memory products, notebook hard drives, and PC Cards. ''Simple Technology is committed to providing for the needs of its channel partners,'' said Val Osinski, director of sales for Simple Technology. ''We have lowered pricing to our key distribution partners to provide them with the price points they need to effectively meet the needs of their customers.'' Simple Technology offers more than 1500 memory products and is one of the few memory manufacturers to offer a complete line of PC Card products including flash, 56K modems, PC Card readers, Ethernet cards, removable hard drives, and other portable storage solutions. The company's line of flash products include ATA flash, CompactFlash(TM), linear flash, Miniature Cards, and SmartMedia. Memory products include Intel specified PC-100 memory modules featuring 100 MHz architecture in capacities up to 256MB, memory releases for the latest systems to come to market, and next-generation memory technology including Rambus Direct DRAM which the company expects to release early in 1999. Recent products announced include the world's first 224 MB Type I flash card, a 48 MB CompactFlash card, 32 MB Miniature Card, a 56K Global Modem, and removable hard drives in 6.4 and 8.1 GB capacities.
