I was trying to tell a coworker the same thing. He won't have it. The economy is great and everybody knows it. (He's pretty overextended himself with buying the best on credit.) What's the old adage about believing so much of what you read in the paper? I used to beleive about 20% or so. Then I became involved in some things which were reported in the paper. Half the time a completely wrong impression is given. These people don't know what research or independent fact-checking is. (Oops ended the sentence with a preposition.)
