It is my guess that Monday just after the split is the best time to buy I don't agree. LoD

Actually I'm a terrible market timer. I keep a separate IRA account with about $30K to buy and sell with. Currently I am down in everything (except a little CPQ) since I either had stocks from last week or bought them too soon in the latest drop.

The only thing that makes money for me is Dell, which I dollar cost average through a direct withdrawl and IBM which I do the same way.
I was going to put the money from my wife's furniture account into the market this morning but she said Just wait a year and Dell will be so far up again it won't matter. So temporarily, I am just a lurker.
