Earnings are already declining. Trade imbalance horrible -- going to get lots worse. Huge growth in the money supply in the last couple of years, accompanied by large "securitization" of credit. The bubble has not burst yet, but will soon. Extremely large participation in stocks by general public. Recent growth in stock prices primarily due to expanded valuations, not earnings growth.

It's classic, unless things have changed fundamentally.
