Bush's used the phrase "kinder and gentler America" to signal subtly that he intended to undo some of Reagan's policies when he got into office. Remember he ran as the "environment" president prior to our present "education" president.

Watched a special on Bush on A&E. I'd vote for him even if he was a democrat, well probably. His worse vice was he compromised with a democratic congress who didn't stick to the deal and he asked Perot not to interfere with negotiations with Vietnam when he was VP.

A program worth watching.
