FYI: I'm on Cablevision's Fairfield County, CT system. To date, they've only had limited ATHM service available. Last week I received a mailer saying that the service is now available in my area. They are offering me a "priority installation" (not sure if this is marketing b.s., or if it's tied to my cable service level, or perhaps because I called awhile ago to ask about the service) price of $25 (plus cost of NIC card) vs. the listed retail install price of $150. Monthly rate is $39.95, or $34.95 for a one year contract (which I opted for). I called on 9/4, and the next install they could give me was 9/15. I'll report back on the total man hours required for the install.
